Learning Collaborative Formed on
Mission-Driven Development on Faith-Based Property
A Learning Collaborative on Mission-Driven Development on Faith-Based Property
Hosted by the Interfaith Affordable Housing Collaborative will be held Thursday, March 30,
8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the West End Collegiate Church, 245 West 77th Street (at West End Avenue, Manhattan). Registration and Continental breakfast assortment opens at 8:30a.m.
The Interfaith Affordable Housing Collaborative was established to help match faith-based properties with technical assistance and other resources to develop supportive and affordable housing and stabilize and strengthen communities. This learning collaborative is an opportunity to explore these possibilities by sharing experiences among participants and hearing from faith leaders, housing and social service providers, community-based housing developers, government representatives, and others to learn from their success stories and cautionary tales. The learning collaborative will be a safe haven to discuss how faith communities can the utilize faith properties to create much needed housing, and in turn fortify their congregations, missions and worship traditions, and promote diversity and inclusion in New York City.
If you are interested in participating please RSVP to ltatum@collegiatechurch.org by Wednesday, March 29.
